How does the Tools For Your Trade voucher initiative work?
Employers will approach tool suppliers with Tools For Your Trade voucher cards, entitling them to purchase up to $800 worth of tools on behalf of their Australian Apprentice.
All vouchers must be exchanged for tool kits on or before 31 October 2009.
After ensuring that the correct Tools For Your Trade sales process has been followed, suppliers then return a completed form (presented to them by the employer) and an itemised tax invoice to the TFYT team.
All Purchase Verification Forms must be returned to Tools For Your Trade before 31 December 2009.
The supplier will be paid for the value of the tool kits sold
within 10 working days of receipt of the correctly completed documentation by the TFYT offices.
Note: The invoice must contain prices for each item purchased, the GST amount, and the equipment brand name.
